Cigar case pattern

Hey everyone.I got a request from a friend abroad .He's a cigar smoker and wants a case .but it need to securely hold the cigars ,and not just be lose in a pouch.

 

I don't smoke cigars..Anyone have tips or a pattern they are willing to share or sell?

My buddy smokes cigars with a ring size of 42..I think I can use 5/8 dials to mold the leather
