Members kbarker Posted November 20, 2019 Members Report Posted November 20, 2019 Second custom beaded belt. Inlaid with 7/8oz on top and 2/3 as liner. Stitching was done on a Cobra IV with 138 thread. Had some issues with TanKote over paint (streaking), but I believe its due to the material I used to apply it. Feel free to ask questions or give feedback. Only been tooling since July and this was quite the learning experience between the dye and bar grounding. I'm realizing my beveling and tooling in general isn't deep enough. Quote
Members Rohn Posted November 20, 2019 Members Report Posted November 20, 2019 What I can see looks nice. I wish there were more closeup pictures so I could see the detail more. Quote Rohn(John 8:32) And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (KJV)
Members corkscrew Posted November 21, 2019 Members Report Posted November 21, 2019 Nice job, as Rohn said some close ups would be nice. I've been thinking about doing some things with bead work. Did you do the beading or buy something the correct size? Quote CorkscrewTom
Members 2shoes Posted December 19, 2019 Members Report Posted December 19, 2019 How did you attach the bead strip to the belt? Did you sew over the bead strip? Quote
