Omer Report post Posted December 17, 2019 (edited) Good evening, just for the record I’m new here, I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here goes i just purchased a singer 29k 62, it was sewing with big hoops at the bottom so I played with the tension and it got better, but know I’m getting hoops on the top only, after sewing about 2 inches or moving the needle to the side while sewing Edited December 17, 2019 by Omer

Loops on top or bottom is usually a tension problem or you have a problem with your thread path or parts that put tension to the thread. Can you post some pictures of your machine and how you have threaded the machine? I´d also check the paddle shaped check spring on the needle bar if it is worn (grove of inside of the paddle end). Guessing you already have a manual, if not I attach one here. Manual Singer 29K62.pdf Edited December 17, 2019 by Constabulary
