Members TimberWolf Posted August 31, 2007 Members Report Posted August 31, 2007 I like the Celtic designs, although I have never attempted any. Looks good! Quote Tim Wolf, http://timberwolfleather.com
Michael Sheldon Posted August 31, 2007 Author Report Posted August 31, 2007 Celtic designs aren't particularly difficult, just very tedious and time-consuming. And on complex designs, you have to constantly pay attention to which way the bevel should go. They're some of my favorites on finished products, but I don't do too many of them. I like the simple ones, easy to do.... love to see the intricate ones... hate to do them... Members Dragons Pearl Posted September 11, 2007 Members Report Posted September 11, 2007 Very nice work. The bike pieces and leatherware on this site are fantastic. I am starting a celtic knot cross (the one on the free patterns section of Tandy online) that will be the second celtic piece I have tried. First one was just a border around a name on a checkbook cover. Quote Paul A. Southern Idaho Boy

I am thinking of making one as well but I have no idea how you fix it to the byke. Do you glue it? And which dyes and finishes did you use? Alessandro, On HD there are two hooks at the top under the dash and a bolt or tie off on the bottom. Good luck, Sscott Quote

Good luck, Sscott Correct, basically all you do is punch two holes at the top, and a short slot at the bottom. It definitely helps to have an existing one to use as a template.
