Celtic designs aren't particularly difficult, just very tedious and time-consuming. And on complex designs, you have to constantly pay attention to which way the bevel should go.

They're some of my favorites on finished products, but I don't do too many of them. :)

Very nice work. The bike pieces and leatherware on this site are fantastic.

I am starting a celtic knot cross (the one on the free patterns section of Tandy online) that will be the second celtic piece I have tried. First one was just a border around a name on a checkbook cover.

Beautiful Michael. I am thinking of making one as well but I have no idea how you fix it to the byke. Do you glue it? And which dyes and finishes did you use?

On HD there are two hooks at the top under the dash and a bolt or tie off on the bottom.

Correct, basically all you do is punch two holes at the top, and a short slot at the bottom.

It definitely helps to have an existing one to use as a template.
