Members TimberWolf Posted September 1, 2007 Members Report Posted September 1, 2007 Hey all, got me a brand new Artisan Toro 3000....woo hoo!! Been wanting a cylinder bed machine for some time now. After doing alot of research of the machines available, I decided the best bang for the buck is the Artisan. It has an excellent range of thread size and material capabilities. I have sewn on the Adler 205/370 and Juki 441, both top notch machines, but more than I was willing to spend. The Artisan should fit my needs perfectly. I had the machine shipped direct from Artisan in the Los Angeles area, and Steve was the customer service person. Excellent in all aspects! I would recommend talking to him if you have any interest in this type of machine. Before I placed the order, I asked ALOT of questions, and Steve very patiently answered them all. Great folks to deal with! Quote Tim Wolf, http://timberwolfleather.com

BruceGibson Posted September 2, 2007 Report Posted September 2, 2007 Jerry & Steve are great. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them both. The Artisan crew rocks! Quote "Don't squat with your spurs on." www.GibsonLeather.com
Members sheathmaker Posted September 17, 2007 Members Report Posted September 17, 2007 I have owned the Artisan 797ABLthr for about five years and the Artisan Toro 4000 for four years and I can not imagine a better set of machines for what I do. The 3000 was not yet available when I got the 4000 and if it had been I would have bought it in preference to the 4000. The only difference is about $2000 in price and a few inches in the throat, plus the 3000 has the superior servo motor. The service, as was already stated , is the best and Jerry and Steve take immediate care of your problems which a very few. I'll be seeing both Jerry and Steve at the upcoming Boot and Saddle Maker's Roundup in Wichita Falls, TX in a few weeks. Jerry has mentioned a new 24 inch powered splitter that I am very interested in. Quote Paul long-----108 Briarwood Ln. W-----Kerrville, TX--78028------830 367 5536-- pfl@cebridge.net
