Drac Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 While we are on the topic of dummy guns, if you can only afford to order 2-3, which models would you reccomend? I've been thinking that one over meself. I'm thinking of going with a beretta 92F/96 (standard military and police issue), colt 1911 (most peeps are big fans of this one) and 1 or 2 of the glocks ((ugh!) for popularity). TracyMoss Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 I would have to second that motion. Definitely get the 1911. Quote
Members BOOMSTICKHolsters Posted February 6, 2008 Members Report Posted February 6, 2008 If you're talking about blue guns, I would say the Springfield 5" 1911a1 C&L, the Glock 17, and the Springfield XD9. They are some of the most popular models, and they can also be used to make holsters for the smaller versions of the same gun if you are familiar with the other guns' dimensions. Quote
Contributing Member rdb Posted February 6, 2008 Contributing Member Report Posted February 6, 2008 Feibings makes a Suede and Roughout Dye The only place I've seen it is at ZacK Whites. but they only stock the Black, Red, Green, and Blue. Google Feibings if those aren't what you want Quote Web page Facebook

It depends on the style of holster you're making. As to what's available in a dummy gun version, my experience has been that the Springfield XD's, the SIG's, and the 1911's are generally the most popular. Quote
