UK or European supplier of rhinestones and rim sets

Recommended Posts

I’m hoping this forum can help as I’ve been searching for weeks now to no avail. It seems impossible to find a non-US supplier of prong rivets and rhinestones. Does anyone know of any European suppliers? The shipping fees for the US companies are extortionate - $60 plus customs and taxes!!

I have found suppliers of tubular rivets with backs but don’t like the way these create a bulge. They are also only available in one size unlike US prong rivet sets which are available in a whole range of sizes.

Fingers crossed!

Thank you Mike. I contacted them but they only sell to companies that are VAT registered which is a weird stipulation and a bit OTT for a small UK hobby collar maker :(

Sorry, not UK. I get any I need direct from China. Presently its taking up to 4 weeks for delivery, its usually only 10 to 14 days. altho tbh I've not needed to buy any of these for a long while

I might know of one in Paris..and maybe one in London..I'll get back to the thread if I can find them again..They are IIRC mainly studs but I think they do some rhinestones, whether they are "prong" I can't remember, very long time since I used them.

Parisian supplier of rhinestones ( we call them strass* ) with prongs ( griffes** ) ( and other types of ) fittings for you :)

http://strasstransferts.com/index.php?id_category=33&controller=category

*rhymes with glass..said with a Yorkshire accent :)

**griffes actually translates as claws..but in Rhinestones claws usually refers to the way the stone is held into the ring, not to the way it is fixed to the material..The page I have linked to is their range of prong back rhinestones..

I don't know if they speak or read English..I never had need to ask..I deal with all French companies in French.
