Thumper144 Report post Posted March 21, 2020 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-rosewood-handled-C-S-Osborne-adjustable-leather-edge-splitter-/233525500073 The best I could do is put a link to it’s description on eBay. I have no affiliation with the seller. Just trying to figure out how or what it’s used for??
billybopp Report post Posted March 21, 2020 That's a channeling tool used in shoe / boot making. It cuts a slit groove that you can use to sew the sole on and then lay the leather flap back down. The cutter is often angled, but can also be straight as that one is. Sorry that's not a great description, but I can't think of a better way to put it! - Bill
