MerlinoD Report post Posted April 13, 2020 I recently purchased a HIGHLEAD YXP-18 skiving machine and proceeded to use a test piece. It skived the 4/5 oz leather for about 2 inches and then jammed stop. When I went to restart the unit after I removed the leather, everything was in reverse polarity. Northmount Report post Posted April 14, 2020 What motor is one it? If it is a digital servo motor, there is a program setting for direction of rotation. If you want more help, you need to specify what the motor is, and a picture may be of help too in identifying it. You should have an instruction sheet for the servo motor, should have been supplied by the vendor. You should also go back to the vendor for his help and support.
