tgraytn Report post Posted July 29, 2020 (edited) Hello everyone, I make wallets (all hand cut and stitched) using Horween 3.5 oz leather and would like to line the pocket where you store your dollar bills with a bandana. I was wondering if anyone here has done that and if so what kind / brand of glue did you use? Also, do I need to burnish the flesh side of the leather before gluing the bandana in place? I have attached a picture as a reference. Thanks in advance! Tom Edited July 29, 2020 by tgraytn Forgot to add a sentence.
garypl Report post Posted July 29, 2020 Get some 3M spray adhesive - easy to apply and works well. Gary

johnv474 Report post Posted August 9, 2020 Which Horween leather? It looks like Dublin to me. Chromexcel is not considered cementable. https://www.horween.com/tannages I would use diluted Leathercraft Cement, which is PVA-type glue, because it is water soluble, dries clear, doesn't stink, and is easy to clean up.
