Arturomex Report post Posted August 30, 2020 I have the opportunity to purchase what's listed as a Techsew SA5-1. The photos in the ad aren't very good and the vendor doesn't know much about industrial stitchers but I think it's probably a 441 clone. It's a fairly long drive to view this machine and I'd like to go (if I go) knowing what I'm going to be looking at. Thanks for your help. Arturo If it is a GA5-1 type it is a clone of a Singer 45k cylinder arm machine. These are strictly bottom feed, with aggressive teeth, with either a fixed flat foot or a roller foot. They max out at 7/16 inch. They are NOT 441 clones. Those are triple/compound feed walking foot machines.
Arturomex Report post Posted August 30, 2020 Thanks guys. No, this isn't going to work for me and you've saved me a few hours and some fuel. I appreciate you taking the time. Regards, Arturo
