Pics won’t show

Many of the posts have a square with a box saying xxxx.pic and the picture won’t show. Logged in or not. Using Safari. Viewing on IPad. How can I see them? Thanks.

Are you looking at really old posts? Some of the older posts where people hosted the pics elsewhere have lost the pics, nothing to be done about it.

Yes. I am looking at every holster post ever made here. The block shows but no pic. Some have an imp icon saying picture gone. Some links won’t work.

This is what happens with 3rd party hosting when the host changes policies, goes out of business, or the original poster deletes, or moves his photos, or his account is closedd.  This is why we ask everyone to post on this site, not to link to a 3rd party.

Just to be sure this is the problem you are seeing, reply here with a link to a couple examples you see.

These are fairly old and were probably lost during a server crash.  Most were able to be restored, but some were not able to be.  These aren't from 3rd party hosting.

Thanks for looking. I can make my own patterns usually, I just look at a lot of projects for design and stamping ideas.
