Members chrisash Posted December 18, 2020 Members Report Posted December 18, 2020 (edited) Unable to get enough power on the little screw driver to adjust the bobbin tension, have tried to remove hook to get at it at proper angle but hook 2 top screws also locked hard Machine has not been used for a time and from the looks the last owner only used 69 thread so maybe screws have been left alone for quite a while Can you get right angle screwdrivers that come in such a small size Any other suggestion, working at present but bobbin tension quite loose, but would like to free up hook assembly to clean up and oil etc Screwdrivers used 2.4 mm and 3 mm Edited December 18, 2020 by chrisash Quote Mi omputer is ot ood at speeling , it's not me
Members Constabulary Posted December 18, 2020 Members Report Posted December 18, 2020 (edited) Maybe gummed up screw thread. I´d try to apply some heat with a heat gun or small gas blow torch. Tension maybe loose because lint has accumulated under the tension spring or a spring has a worn grove.
