Sheilajeanne Report post Posted January 19, 2021 As a result of a conversation here: https://leatherworker.net/forum/topic/93006-leather-burnisher-hasnt-changed , I have a couple of bone folders looking for a new home. Would especially like to see them go to a newbie! PM me if interested, please.
DJole Report post Posted January 20, 2021 Having a real bone folder would be cool, but I can't really consider myself a newbie.
Sheilajeanne Report post Posted January 25, 2021 Still have one available! But as I'm in Canada, shipping is not cheap. It's going to cost $7.64 U.S. And I am asking that the recipient pay for shipping.

Sheilajeanne Report post Posted January 26, 2021 (edited) Oleskiver, how the HECK did you wind up with so many?? And WHY?? Both have now been spoken for. I'm keeping one extra because...y'know...DOGS and bones...if I ever drop one on the floor, and don't notice, I'm pretty sure it's going to be history! OLESKIVER Report post Posted February 20, 2021 well, I use different sizes depending on project, and of course I am a toolaholic. lol. plus most of them are c.s. osborn. maybe I read too much Al Stohlman books.
Sheilajeanne Report post Posted February 20, 2021 Someone recently posted a video of how they made leather bowls. They had the wet leather stretched over a form and were using a deer canon bone (shin bone) to stretch it and press the water out of it! So, not all bone folders are the same!
