Also, does anyone know where I can download a copy of the user's manual? Solar Leather, which is now out of business, used to have a download but I can't find one anywhere at the moment. Assuming your feed dog is smooth, like mine is, I set it so that the top is either equal to, or just slightly above the top of the throat plate at its highest position. Only if the machine has difficulty feeding the work do I raise the feed dog much higher above the throat plate. This is just my preference. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
