Members CapnCohen Posted May 28, 2021 Members Report Posted May 28, 2021 After visiting lava glows and n Hawaii, I want to duplicate the “braided” lava in leather. How do I tool those so they’re rounded? Quote
Members Rahere Posted May 30, 2021 Members Report Posted May 30, 2021 (edited) Slowly. This is, in all likelihood, going to call for you to anneal some steel, file it into a deep concave beveller, and reharden it by heating and quenching in oil. Forged in Fire stuff, in other words. Members buzzardbait Posted May 30, 2021 Members Report Posted May 30, 2021 Back bevellers will round over those corners. Barry King makes them to fit into a swivel knife and they work great for this. Quote
