RocknBLeather Posted February 7, 2008 Report Posted February 7, 2008 Hi There, I make Bronc Halters for people, mostly with a lot of rhinestones for the barrel racers. This was my first attempt at making one without the bling factor. Tina Quote

Members Cherokee55 Posted February 7, 2008 Members Report Posted February 7, 2008 I really like it! Not much into the bling stuff myself. Dumb question, do you do the basket weave first than the barb wire stamp? Saw a people belt stamped like this at Tandy several years ago want to make one but my practice attempts look pretty yucky Janet Quote
TracyMoss Posted February 7, 2008 Report Posted February 7, 2008 RockinB were you at the NCHA Finals? Quote

You want to do the basket stamp as close to your border line as possible, then the barbwire gives it a nice finished edge. This was my second attemped at the basket stamp, it all came together with such ease that it surprised me. Do some practice runs on a scrap, it is alot more forgiving than you think. Thanks for looking, Tina Quote
RocknBLeather Posted February 7, 2008 Author Report Posted February 7, 2008 RockinBwere you at the NCHA Finals? No, but I wish I had been there!! I have only been to one event where I sold some work, It was here in Oakdale, Ca where I live. I do ship bronc halters all over the U.S. and Canada, all of the work I get is via the internet. Thanks, Tina Quote
Members Dually Posted May 7, 2008 Members Report Posted May 7, 2008 Nice work Tina! I feel like I may be the last guy out there without a barb wire stamp, and it sure looks nice. What do you line the back with? I use shearling, but I can't tell on yours. Quote
Members kobas Posted September 30, 2012 Members Report Posted September 30, 2012 I just found this forum and had a squiz at your web page your bronc Halters Tina are beautiful. I have a question do u hand sew your Halters? And if u don't then how do you put your rivets in with out the sewing machine knocking them. Quote
Members CrazyCowgirlCreations Posted November 9, 2012 Members Report Posted November 9, 2012 Tina - I really like the basket weave/barb wire combination along with the matching conchos. I'd take this over "bling" any day! Nice work Quote
