Looking for a Singer 111G right side slide plate the versions on College sewing and  Sew Europe are a bit short top to bottom 64.4mm compared to 64.7mm original, and slide to freely in the tracks whilst the original needs a bit of finger pressure to move any suggestions for other UK sellers or anyone with a scrap machine willing to part with a original part

usually there is a slot in the plate and you can bend the "thorn" a little bit with a screw driver for adjusting the fit. Thats not unusual, Pfaff Adler and other brands have similar side plates.
