Members kZook Posted August 19, 2021 Members Report Posted August 19, 2021 I am looking at buying a supply of double cap rivets. I am wondering if there is any real difference between Rivets from Tandy, Weaver, Springfield, and Buckle Guy. Buckle Guy has some nice setting tools and dies but not sure if their tools work with others rivets as cap sizes seem to be different from everyone else's rivets. Also BG seem to be much higher priced than the other vendors. I don't mind paying more if the quality is there. Any help and input would be appreciated. Quote
MtlBiker Posted August 19, 2021 Report Posted August 19, 2021 While I have never looked at rivets from the companies you mention, I've been using the rivets (and snaps and press) from Kamsnaps for a year now. I've been very pleased with both the quality and the cost. And I've just ordered a second press from them so that I could keep my hole punch dies on one and rivet press dies on the other instead of constantly having to change back and forth.
