Members Warren Posted February 8, 2008 Members Report Posted February 8, 2008 Very, very sharp! Quote
Members Alan Bell Posted February 8, 2008 Members Report Posted February 8, 2008 Hey Mike, looks pretty good but it looks like your "gaucho" interweave is a little off. The pattern should still be an over two under two but there are some missed passes. Incidentally, the Argentines don't call that the " Gaucho" pattern and in fact don't really have a different name for the different interweaves. Bruce Grant applied those names to the knots he learned from his travels in Argentina. Vaya Con Dios, Alan Bell My hand was made strong by the hand of The Almighty! Bob Marley - Redemption Song Quote
Members rawhide1 Posted February 8, 2008 Author Members Report Posted February 8, 2008 Alan Thanks for the sharp eye!! I reckon I better go back and study on that knot some more!! Mike Quote
Members Opagon Posted February 8, 2008 Members Report Posted February 8, 2008 (edited) I like! Whatever one wishes to call that pattern; I call it a Herring bone, I love the look. Your turks look like they are getting better and better. Let us see how the weave goes once you find where your pattern got off. Keep up the good work, even if it is on more bracelets. Members rgerbitz Posted February 9, 2008 Members Report Posted February 9, 2008 You do some really nice work. How do you color your strings? Rob Quote
Members rawhide1 Posted February 9, 2008 Author Members Report Posted February 9, 2008 I want to thank everyone for their replies!! Rob To be honest I don't color my strings. I have enough trouble doing as much as do. I just use darker or lighter rawhide and i've got a bunch of roo from Tandys that I like to use for contrast. But one of these days I would like to try and dye my own. So when ya figure out the best way let me know. Mike Quote
