Members Goldshot Ron Posted June 7, 2022 Members Report Posted June 7, 2022 Randy, Whatever happened to this saddle? Did you post the finished saddle in a different section? I would like to see the finished product. Ron Quote

Members Goldshot Ron Posted June 7, 2022 Members Report Posted June 7, 2022 Well, I guess I did see it. It's even looks more impressive the second time around. You did a lot of tooling, that looks real uniform. Really neat saddle Randy. Ron Quote
rktaylor Posted June 8, 2022 Author Report Posted June 8, 2022 Thanks Ron, It was a lot of tooling, but an enjoyable project. Randy Quote
Members Dougherty44 Posted February 24, 2023 Members Report Posted February 24, 2023 Hello, how did you get it from the first pictures to the final product? I am doing my first one and am on try 3. Mine looks about like the first pictures. How can I get the wrinkles out? Quote
rktaylor Posted February 24, 2023 Author Report Posted February 24, 2023 First off, it's two different pieces of leather. As noted above, failures end up in the scrap bin. On the final attempt, I got more leather in the hand hole. That means fewer wrinkles to push out. I also used a steamer to help remove wrinkles. Randy Quote
