Members Hags Posted October 19, 2021 Members Report Posted October 19, 2021 I posted these on the holster page but felt they might benefit from wider exposure. Might just prompt someone to stretch out and make their own. I got frustrated with contemporary boning tools and decided to make my own for boning my holsters and sheaths. I used 5/16 hex head bolts and one piece of odd material I had. Need to work on my handles, and the long bent one is not functional, I'll probably cut that one off and make a beveler or something else out of it. Quote Not so retired RN. CFM chuck123wapati Posted October 19, 2021 CFM Report Posted October 19, 2021 (edited) those are awesome. homemade tools created this craft and are as much a part of its history as any other. If you have a drill press you could make your handles by inserting a straight rod first then chucking it up and turning/shaping the wood with files. I don’t do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.” THE DUKE!
