Machine sewing thread

I have a question about machine sewing thread. Has anyone used a pre-lubricated nylon thread on their machine?

I'm no expert, but I have had a machine for several years and use it often. I am aware of several other machine users in my area. never heard of anyone lubricating nylon thread. a saddle shop near me has been in business for longer than I have been alive, I'm 60 and none of their dozen or so machines runs lubricated thread or uses a lubricater. I have heard horror stories of people who ran waxed thread through a machine. take that with a grain of salt because as I said I am no expert.

Thanks for the info. I was searching threads and found one that was listed as pre-lubricated  nylon thread. I have never heard of this, just curious if anyone else had.

Here is a supplier of lubricated bonded nylon thread. 

If you search the Leather Sewing Machine forum, you will find several posts on lubricated thread.
