I am exploring options for a group looking to repurpose leather into merchandise for an online store. We would provide the well used leather and designs, need only the leatherworker to execute the product.

where do you get the repurposed leather? Is it cleaned first? what type of leather?

I'm working on behalf of the non-profit group so I don't have the design to share yet. But we are looking at things like handbags. The leather could be cleaned if that is part of your criteria - it is used leather in form of things like tack and boots. Perhaps you would need stiches and "other" removed?
