That is a cool bike! A great job on the leather. It really looks wicked.

My first job as translator!

Berserker is a Scandinavian word from the vikingage. From what I've learned it's true meaning has not really been established but historians/archaeologists believe that it means björnsärksbärare. I'll break it down for you: björn=bear, särk=shirt, bärare=bearer.

I hope you can see now that those word are likely to be realated to each other. So many words from vikings coming to Englandia still live in the English.

What a berserker really is, is even more fuzzy but some mean they're special warriors, that may have been pumped with drugs and sent into battles when needed. They wen't berzerk and if you have seen how many shots a drugaddict can take and still carry on, that's what they're believed to be and the name has been said by some is because they wore bearskins to look frightening.

I had read about that also. I would not want to go up against a full blown drug crazed anything even with a bearskin, imagine a screaming horde of hairy shapes emerging from the mist, must have given more than one heart attack to any village defender. Lets go Viking!

That scooter looks like it might have some lineage tracing back to the Greater Wyrm. That is simply the best leather coat I've ever seen.

Isnt that the guy from the forum here that does all the really cool seats. Maybe not, just one of the pics looks like the guy from the seat making guide.

That bike looks absolutely great. Really great job.

Some of us may remember Paul Cox as the right-hand-man of Indian Larry. He was featured on many Biker Build-Offs a few years back (shown on the Discovery channel). Paul is a commercial artist by training; and a motorcycle fabricator by the sweat of his brow. Paul and other fabricators tried to make a go of Indian Larry's shop after his untimely death. I understand that he has now left Indian Larry Legacy and has opened a shop of his own in the New York area. Berserker was his own personal bike that he built while working with Larry at Gasoline Alley. It has become a modern day classic....(Sort of like George Barris' Hirohata '49 Mercury in the custom car world). It is always pointed to as the ultimate true chopper. The bike shows amazing attention to detail. Check out those pictures closely, it is really amazing. Every inch of the bike has its own special character.

To top off everything else....Paul seems to be a really nice guy.

You can see some additional pics of the bike at http://www.paulcoxleather.com/berserker.shtml
