Can I Put A Roller Foot Attachment On Consew 225

Recommended Posts

Bought a consew 225 and was wondering if I can put a roller foot attachment on there. Ive seen them as generic, one size fits all on ebay, but know those don't always work. I make leggings and such, and a roller foot would make my life amazing. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Any options that would work....other than getting a different machine? I can still use it,would just be nice to have that kind of setup available.

There are different feet you can get for this like zipper feet where one toe of the outside foot will be off,you can get it with either the left or rightside off.

Another question for you senor bob....are machine tables universal? If I wanted to buy a post sewing machine head and, would that be able to interchange with the table and motor that the consew is currently on?

As a Consew 225 owner, I just think it’s interesting that someone would want to convert a triple-feed walking foot machine into a roller-feed machine. You do realize that you have a machine that many guys struggling along with a roller-foot machine would love to have, don’t you?

Why don’t you put your Consew up for sale or trade? You could probably get 2 or 3 roller-feed flatbed machines for your Consew 225, and maybe even some boot to go along with it....

CD,

I really don't have a problem with the machine per se....what I would really love to have is a post machine with roller feed. I realize these two machines have totally different functions, but for what I want to do,the post machine would fit better in my shop. I would have no problem selling/trading the walker for a good version of the post.

Some post machines have different length bases than your 225.So if you find a postbed ask them to measure first.
