Not being near other leather workers or classes sometimes presents difficulties. I've begun to wish I had access to someone to look over a peice/project and offer ways to correct various points that need/should be improved. I know I can post photo's of one of my projects and ask questions like: is stitching ok or asking how to improve curve, etc. But, from design to details it would be nice to get constructive critique of an item. If a forum was set up to do exactly that, then, no one would feel that are brutalizing someone else's work. What are you thoughts? Thanks, Regis

Hi admin-types. The new upgrade is great - I've been using IPB on a couple different forums for a while now. We changed over from vBulletin, and we're much happier. Might I suggest we get the "Interests" section of user profiles limited to 100 characters or something? There's people who have entire biographies in there, and when they make a one-line post, there's a whole screen of nothing (except their "interests" bio in the sidebar) to scroll through before you get to the next post. Thanks.

I've seen buttons on other forums to accept a post as a solution to a post with a problem, or to vote or give a +1 for a poster who is helpful and wondered if there was a way to do something like that here. If I'm missing it, I do apologize. But I don't see it. Thanks.

How about puting the "Todays hot topics" menu item at the top of the page instead of the bottom it is awkward to have to scroll down the entire page to get to it.. thanks Jordan

Is anyone else having problems with the "View New Content" feature of the site? For the past few days it states that there is no new post to view but if I go to the individual forums there is plenty of new posts. Chris

I'm very impressed with all of the new Leatherworker.net changes - some really nice stuff going on here. Just one question... I used to go directly to veiw the new posts since my last visit, now I can't seem to find that option. Is it right under my nose where I can't see it, or has this feature been discontinued?

Has the site slowed down quite abit in the past few days? I dont seem to notice a slow down on other sites, just here.... reminds me of dialup, the pages are very slow to load as are the pix...

Johanna, Once again I am being logged out when I get off the site. Not every time, but often. It did this a while back and you fixed it then, so hopefully it is a simple fix again. Thanks for all your work to get everything up and running again. Denise
