Leon Powers rebuild Updated
My girlfriend's grandfather was one of the best cowboys in this or any other part of the country. Her uncle found this old saddle of his and gave it to her brother. I was honored when he asked me to rebuild it for him. I think it is an old association tree and I stripped it down leaving only the gullet. I have the front jockey, back jockey, seat and fenders that came off the saddle that will be reused when it's ready. Ant tips on matching the color of the old leather with the new would be greatly appreciated.

First attempt at chaps Updated
A "just-for-fun" project: making some chaps for my son (it´s carneval right now)
Pattern for the chaps, yokes etc. are selfdrawn. A first attempt in making chaps - long way to go :-)

Vintage & Antique Finds Updated
Various vintage and/or antique leather goods that I find to either keep as is or more often than not, do a little restoration work with them and put them back in functional order.

Humble Attempts Updated
This should show the struggles I have with Leatherwork. I am convinced after reading Robert Park's writings that I have yet to work a properly prepared piece of leather. Perhaps someday I will gain the patience to wait until the leather is ready.
