Members spacedog Posted May 21, 2021 Report Nice work. I appreciate the step by step progression. Thanks for including it, since I really want to get an air brush and try it. Quote
Members Spinner Posted May 21, 2021 Report My pleasure. I have more detailed photo steps of some others I'll try to post another time as well. Quote
Members JayEhl Posted May 22, 2021 Report Hi, Just beautiful work, from start to finish. Did you some sort of masking as you layered the air brush paint? . And for sure, please post any steps, that would amazing to share. Quote
Members Spinner Posted May 22, 2021 Report Hi JayEhl, Yes, the masking is done with Duck brand yellow masking tape. I lay the tape on gently and then using a modeling spoon tuck it into the tooling recesses. Once the area that I want covered is all tucked I use an exacto knife and a super light touch to cut the tape to shape, exposing the areas to be painted. Quote
Members Spinner Posted July 17, 2024 Report I just use a fine tipped modelling spoon (Peter Main's is the best) abd press the tape into the cut line. That is all tucking it is. Quote
