Recently, I received a shoulder bag from a customer, and the hardware had fallen off, so they asked me to repair it for them. The customer requested that the repair be seamless, so I first removed the edge paint from the bag and then took out the stitching, but I didn’t cut it because I would need to sew it back later. After removing the edge paint, I could see that the screws inside had come loose, so I tightened them and applied some screw glue to prevent them from falling off again. The following steps are to reattach, paint the edges, and restitch.
