I recntly bought some leather from a motorcycle buddy and he threw in a box full of hand tools . inside was a brand new( I think) an English point end punch. The reason I think that it is new is that the plastic stuff they use to seal is still in place. I have one now so this is extra. I would like a fair price ofr it or to trade for tools ( hand or stamping ) of equal value . Tell me what youu have or make an offer. Does any one have any idea where I might get a custom 3-D stamp made?

I once had a book on the making of wallets and billfolds and lent it to someone to copy and never got it back. I recall it didn't have many fotocarve patterns, but that is no poblem because I make my own from a few Stolman books I have now. I've checked Tandy, Zack White Leather Amazon, Halfbooks dot com and e-bay to no avail. Can anyone steer me in a new direction? I would gratly appreciate it. Thank you Gheechee

I've got a customer who wants a cartridge belt for a .41 mag revover cart. I've made them before many years ago , but never one for this size round. I was thinking of using a 2.5" wide strip and stitching the loops to it. any thoughts from anyone? Thank you Gheechee

I've used the brewers pitch, but also a micxture of beeswax and pine rosin( pure ) will work too. as for the problem of the wear with the wooden stopper. Use a hair dryer and roll the flask around or add a pinch more and then use the hair dryer. this can be done at any time. cheers

I'm not sure I have the skill sets you need for this type of project, I have extensive experience in leatherworking with belts and horse tack. In the past I have made collars for large dogs, ie: Shepards, and Akidas. I made them to the specs of the customers. I searched the net for brass conchos, but failed to find any . The only thing I found available are those with antique silver finishes in various styles and shapes. Let me know what you think. Sorry I have no pictures at this time as I have recently returned to Leather after a 10 year absence. If my qualifications are not what you are looking for . Please be so kind to let me know.
