  12. i used a gallon vinegar and 3 steel wool pads. let it sit about 3 weeks. i posted a couple pics of some belts i did with it and they turned out great
  13. well i got it and picked up needles thread and a roller foot. it sews great. it sure goes fast compaired to the tippman boss LOL
  14. a gallon of vinegar 3 steel woll pads. soaked them then let them dry a bit ran them thru baking soad and water. then oiled them before they dried, then leather balm with atom wax i used a tippmann boss its the only one i ahve right now.

  19. what size needles and what kind and size of thread should i use?
  20. i have a chance to buy a singer 31-15 i want it to sew thin leathers. wallet thickness. i have a tippman boss to sew the heavy stuff. the guy wants 50 for the machine he picked it up at an auction a few years ago and used it for a few canvas projects. would the machine do what i want it to do without any problems?
  21. i used to use a hooked blade for roofing in a utility knife that worked pretty good
