Ok crossing fingers toes and eyes. Poking for parts for a landis 1...... Don't laugh so hard please ..... A shuttle is my main goal, a bobbing or two would be great, needles in good shape or needle bushings a great plus. A foot or two would help. Don't need any of the wax pots or stand thanks though. If you know of any please let me know

Hey bud I found a landis one under a barn post bout a year ago and tore it down and got it running if you like gimme a call and I can help ya out The part your prolly missing sounds like the needle guide bushing and unless you feeling lucky enough to bet on double six with your life savings At the craps tableyou not lukley to to.d any. get some rivets take your needle and make sure it fits inside the hole in the back part then drill it out or make a hole and Insert it in the needle guide the spread it out on bottom side of guide bar. Trust me it works been sewing on mine for a while and It works great. Do not try to sew without the fire bushings my needles cost bout 7 by is a pop and you will break them with out the guide bushings. 210 818 3490 is number names Wil Have fun great machine

Yes sir I have been to the website for Mr kovar Haven't called cause I didn't se any used machines. Just new ones and 1200 or more will get me divorced I'm sure shipping would be quite a bit as well and these machines are in a saddlery here in town that's closing up I don't really want to spend 5 to 700 and am only able to because I'm selling my 31-15 and my 66 together the rest of the money. I rebuilt both of them And have no desire to lose them. But choices have to be made and that's what happens. I understand from reading posts on here for over a year (also from when you told me what I had when I Pulled that landis 1 from the dirt last winter) that your knoledge of machines is very large and respected by myself as well. Please let me know what ya think as I value you thoughts and opinion But understand I'm in south Texas. Starting a shop from scratch on no money Thanks so much to all -

Well ok i was able to salvage the bobbin and shuttle and shuttle slide. thanks for the help with the threading i think i figured out the bobbin threading though its alottabit different then my singer and consew both of witch are no more then 50 years old. i got it all cleaned up and runnin and the needle that was in it made it through 3 stitches before it decided that the time in the dirt was more then it could bare couple more questions if you dont mind will a half horse electric motor run this machine its low geared out of a winch that was busted. minor bit of MacGyverin and i can hook it up. I used some leather to tighten up the shuttle in the slide is that ok or is the small spring piece required still is there a chance in all of creation of finding a manual for this thing saw where someone said there was one on the smithsonian website but under what subject or title any answers will keep me from extending this post any more lol thanks again guys and if ever in south texas around San Antonio yall got a friend -

Thanks so much for the info busted really makes me smile I talked to eli for a second Only need the shuttle and bobbin holder and possibly the pressed tension piece that mounts to the square rod that runs through the machine and then learn how to thread it lol But I'm looking forward to using it on some girth and saddles I'm starting now I won't have to hand sew em -
Hello folks I'm in south Texas and have recently come across this machine while tearing down a barn. Is was locked up and a barn post was using part of the base for a pier lol. I can find no marks on it other then numbers on parts when I was tearing it down After a full day and half of tlc it works. However the piece that connects to the pressed foot Rod on the back was or did break off when I took it apart. I think its a landis but not sure I'm going to use it to sew girts and chaps and would like to find a few parts that didn't do so well the shuttle, bobbin, and bobbin case are shot ThAnks so much
