Hello from Kansas I am new to leather work. I started working with it last summer. Was looking for holsters for some old shooters I have. After doing some research on YouTube and some other sites on how to build a holster I started thinking I might try to do the work myself. Well, I think I am hooked. I've made about a dozen holsters now. I've made a few custom pieces for local Police officers and shooting buddies of mine. I really enjoy working with leather. A lot of trial and error on my part on the first ones. I am starting to branch out a little now. I've made a few little things, cell phone holder, pocket watch holder and a few wrist bands for my daughters. Starting and new belt this weekend. Just purchased a few carving tools last week as a Christmas gift to myself. Looking forward to using them on the belt. Very nice work. I showed her your photos to my daughter last night. She looks at me and says "Dad can you that?". I looked at her wide eyed and said "maybe some day darlin. maybe someday."

Looks good! I too have been thinking about making one that is combined with a mag holder.
