    A customer just picked up an old pair of lined chaps and a jacket with a removable liner. Problem is he can't get the stench out. He has washed 'em with saddle soap and although he said they look better, they still reek. He is getting his gear together for Daytona, next month, and wants to wear this skin. If there is any place I know of to find the answer to a leather question, it's here. Thankful for any & all replies. (Love this site) I think the funk is more in the skin than in the liner.heellllllp

    Al Stohman's "Belts Galore" purchased from Tandy has a couple of billet styles and all the dimensions you asked about. I'm too technically challenged to send pictures.

    I believe it was in this forum several months ago that I saw & responded to this tip: If you have a feed store in your area, they have some cardboard that comes in on the shipping pallets. It works great for patterns & its free.

    Just lurking in leatherworker.net and came across your work. I was particularly impressed with the Flying Tiger patches. My great uncle, Lt Hoyle Upchurch, was shot down/crashed in China as a Flying Tiger. A Chinese delegation both came to the States to participate in his funeral and hosted an American group that went to China to pay respects. At his funeral here in the states Government dignitaries spoke but we were all most impressed by the representative of the Flying Tigers...................not to mention the missing man flyover at the grave site. I have records of all this stuff and one of the family members built a website chronicling it all as well. Just Google Lt Hoyle Upchurch. If there is anyway further I can help you please let me know.
