These mini motors are fix. A simple belt connects the motor with the flywheel and that all. No gears! I believe the motor from a bag closing machine will do the work but don't know if i can use a foot pedal!

I have a phaff 138 zigzag machine and i don't use it for a long time now. So i decide to make an experiment! Make the machine portable! I have already made the wooden case and it's time for a mini motor. I can find many for household machines up to 120 watts. Will be good enough to do minor repair work? Any other suggentions? Thank you

One last pic from the lever. I believe the length is quite small on this machine. Is it possible to increase the length by change the silver plate behind the black lever?

What is the max stitch lenght on the pfaff 335 H3? I want to get one for binding work on leather and canvas.
