Brrrrrr - Can't you find a corner in the house to use? or maybe use some Duct Tape & sheets of foam insulation in the garage... ?? I use it to cover some of the windows and I like the lite blue hue.

It is much colder than usual this weekend. I had a spray bottle of water on my cutting table that froze up solid. Not good to store my leather out here either, but no choice.

Closing and locking the shop for a break. Smudged some detail work, ruined some stitching and smashed my hand. Day wasted.

Recieved some Tiger thread samples from UK (Leodis Leather on Etsy). He shipped fast and the thread is smooth and solid. Much better than my unravelling thread from a store that rymes with randy

How much of a discount do you get with their gold club? I was just on their site and registered. I pay 150.00 a year to get elite prices with Tandy and it looks like springfield is wayyyy better on their membership. They also price match I think I read?

BUT Tandy is like an hour from me and I can pick out my leather also. Last time I ordered leather on line I got a hide with more bug bites and scratches on it than the tree outside.

I had a poor Tandy service experience today, grumpy guy who is usually chatty and helpful. If their parent company prints out a sales brochure, then the stores should have the pricing marked. He argued with me about what was on sale or not...I had to shove the mailing into his nose to get the correct price. He must have had a bad night or something. I spent a lot less than I would have otherwise.

You know what WScott? Why don't you go back when you are in that area. Bring him a treat, cookies or something. He probably got reamed by his boss or just didn't feel good. A kind gesture might turn him around.

We visited the Horse Barn in Kamloops BC on our way back from a ski vacation at Sun Peaks. Some beautiful saddles, tack and cowboy boots from Canada and USA.

a trick to toughen your fingers up....dip the tips
your fingertips in rubbing alcohol and
let them dry...do this several times daily
it will toughen them up quickly

Finger tips are like hamburger now.
He is doing Cars "Just What I Needed" for a school talent show, so we were jamming that.
Wish I learned earlier in life!
