  1. It's been a while. Guess I have been very busy. So started making holsters. Had some great advice on here and here is how it has progressed.

  3. I certainly do not have an apprentice. Im not really sure how to take that. Thanks for the compliments on my other stuff. I have only been working with leather for about 16 months and just started making gun holsters. God blessed me with a techsew ga15-r and its a bit heavy to work with. it is tough to make a tight stitch and especially curves. Is there a different machine better suited for holster making that could help me take it to the next level? The stitch per inch advise is great, it is tough to set on this machine so ill have to experiment. This part of leather work is new to me. There are many variables and it cant be all bad for a prototype?

  11. it is made of 9/10 oz veg tanned. it stands on its own and it is sturdy. Thanks for the compliment!

  13. Here is another hand bag for the up-coming craft show im getting ready for. It has a red lining with pocket.
  14. the colors are just Fiebing's alcohol-based dye, yellow, navy blue and russet. The purse itself is medium brown and i didn't use any resist, i just colored carefully by hand.
  15. Thanks yall! I needed the encouragement, I have only been doing this for about a year and I am trying to get something going with it because i surely love to work with leather.
