That is some really nice work in every aspect - stamping, stitching, color, design. I hope someday my skills get close to what you are doing! -
Another Belt Order Completed

Truly beautiful work Jarret - from design to dye. -
It looks like 2 thin outer layers of leather, with a medium blue core. The outer leather layer are varying colors on different pieces, tan, maroon, black. I think it's probably junk.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but.... I was looking at the bag of leather scraps sold in HobbyLobby, thinking I could use them for practice. Most of the leather looks like it bonded to some kind of blue foam rubber core. Anybody know what this stuff is? I don't think it is something I could practice tooling.

Looks Great! I know the bottle is the main focus, but the design on the strap is very cool.

Hi everyone brand new guy here — got interested after google fishing for methods to make a pistol holster - I've bought the Tandy beginner set and some tools from Tandy and ebay (Yay another reason to buy tools!). I'm going to go through the projects in the kit to get some practice though I may use my own designs. Eventually I want to make a nice fender bib to go under the fender rack on my bike and maybe a custom seat — who knows where this will lead. I bought a big ol' hunk of leather from Tandy too, it's rolled up in the back of my SUV - I'm telling everyone it's my leather scented car air freshener. Hope to post some projects soon but in the meantime really enjoying looking at the neat stuff you guys are doing and soaking up some knowledge.
