looking for one or two sides of black english bridle 3/4 oz. in Hermann Oak or W & C. Is there any suppliers out there that can do that? I know Hermann Oak wont and thats who I had ordered 3 sides from a couple years ago but they need 5 sides in same color in order to make a sale? That breaks my heart. I have almost a full side of 5oz black Hermann Oak bridle if anyone out there wants to make a trade. 3 to 3.5 oz black is what im looking for. Wickett and Craig id be willing to try too

nice, that makes sense. thanks man you always answer my questions pretty quickly. do you need to glue the material to the bottom lip of each slot so that when you go to put the card in, it doesnt miss the fold and slide down to the next one down or to the bottom? this is actually a pretty cool design. i dont like the idea of using these other materials though.

i wondered that. and glued the fabric instead of stitching on the backside. thats not something im gonna mess with lol still wondering if thats the only option

Hi guys, Ive seen this question asked before but the answer didnt get answered. sorry if the answer is somewhere I didnt see. I have a guy wanting a wallet with slit pocket slots like shown below. I dont understand how they work. what keeps the top cards from sliding down too far. with stacked card slots, you can fix each layer so that the card slides down only how far you want it, but with a single layer, i dont see how that would work. If someone can explain how that works i would appreciate it. i would hate to turn the guy down but i dont want to make something that is not functional.

ya they are just too thin. and if the $150 tool i just bought doesnt work on them, im def not content with using them I was thinking of buying some osborne snaps due to the convenience. anyone had good results with these?

just gave that a try and it flattened the cap a little and left a slight square shaped indent like i figured it would but the result was better than what i was getting with the anvil and the press n snap tool. Now i need to try and figure out why i just spent over $100 on a press n snap

Do the dot snaps have any visible markings on them? they dont say "dot" on them or anything do they? I need them to be totally plain looking snaps. I was gonna give these a try though.

Press N Snap tool did not fix the problem. the snaps are officially junk

i might end up doing that. Its frustrating that there arent many sources for waxed nylon with specific sizes provided Your stitches look good though. I worry about getting the wax to penetrate the nylon thread good enough. I know you can wax and then rub with a brown paper bag to get it to melt in but i wonder sometimes if that works as well as just having a thread that is prewaxed. Ill prob pick up some from the thread exchange but still interested in other sources.
