A friend in Alabama commissioned me to make a holster for his Springfield loaded that would mount to the rigid strut on his Harley Sportster. He also said I had creative control and could do whatever I thought would work/look good. I didn't have the weapon or the bike handy to work from (so imagine how pleased I was to see that it turned out good). Istre is his name (French Cajun), Saints fan, lives in Mobile. The state motto is carved in (Audemus jura nostra defendere = We dare defend our rights). The shape of the state is stitched in. The holster is removable (for those days when you need/want that sort of accessory). The frame is 1x 1/8th steel, with bar clamps to fit the 1-1/8th in risers. I think it turned out pretty nice, and He loves it. thanks for looking, enjoy. Murray

Stunning!! The border is perfect, each stamp in just the right spot. I love it. I don't know if I would be able to give it to my buddy. I might give him the pictures and keep the rig. And the photography is awesome as well. I don't imagine you do anything mediocre, do you?

Wicked design. Love the half skull. I think I'm going to have to try this on my Fender. Any words of advice before I dive into a project like this?

Front of possibles pouch or shooters pouch. Again, this is my first ever go at a pouch. It's a simple 3 piece design (front, back/closure, and belt loop). Simple whip stitch to secure it all together. -

another look at the belt (again with the script). -

Bringing the bear motif to closure is the wrist band with paw prints and again a locking lace closure (they didnt have line 24 snaps back then). -

back of knife sheath. I know, I forgot to bevel/background the lower loop on the "Q" OOPs. This was my first try at using the D.o.I. Declaration of Independence) font. Again, wanting to use only "period" style, methods and materials I fashioned a locking lace closure for the belt loop on the knife sheath. -

My first attempt at a pouch (I know, I know, pouches are the bread and butter around here, just never had a reason to make one). tried to use only available materials for manufacture (minus the brass stud closure). -

Closer look at the script (he wanted a font that resembled the Declaration of Independence). -
