That is fantastic work. It is more artwork than just a seat.

Thanks jmann8686 and electrathon For the pattern I've been using you can just skip down to that picture. Reading the story will show how you can come up with a pattern almost anywhere and when you least expect to. * There is a funny story about the pattern I use. When I saw some examples of leather roses I wanted to make them. I hated giving roses to me ex because they died, so the idea of a rose that didn't die appealed to me. But I couldn't find a pattern. I spent about 5 days playing on my computer and drawing different ideas. I checked Tandy's site and others but couldn't find one that worked for me. My daughter bought some chocolate hearts. When she offered me one she noticed they were marshmallow. When I was going to make some chocolate covered marshmallows around Christmas she said no way she hates them. When she saw what she bought she was annoyed. I had one and went back to work trying to make a pattern. After a while I had another one but as I pealed it I thought wait a second that looks right. So I placed the heart on cardboard and traced one heart then moved it over and did a second and a third. I had to cut the base thinner. I then cut the pattern in half for the center. The leaves I just free hand draw. I call them June's Chocolate Heart Roses. * Here is the pattern and a couple of others I did.

I saw another member doing leather roses. Valentine's Day has always been one of my favorite holidays. Halloween is another! So I went and tried to create a rose as well.
