About Me
I am 26 years old and love to work with leather, this was not always the case I used to have a business in the construction industry wich my dad and granfather helped me establish. I did that for about 3 years and really liked it. I stopped my studies early, very early by the age of 18 I was a proud father. My son was born it was the best day of my life but I had to stop doing what I was doing for me ad think about him also. I was going to college studying Ag Buisness and really liked it. Doing construction I mostly worked on foreclosed homes bringing them up to conveyance condition since most owners tore them up because they were so mad I don't blame them. Well all this ended one night when I was shot at work. I was shot while working on a house on a bad side of town and it isn't a surprise since we have a gang problem here where I live. That night I was shot 4 times at close range with a small caliber handgun. I got hit once in the face, the bullet when in on one side of my cheek behind my nose and out the other side you can't even tell now. The second bullet hit me in the back of the head went in one side and came out the other about 3 inches part I was really lucky it did not affect my brain. The third bullet hit me in my chest and came out the other side. The fourth bullet lodged in my abdomen destroyed my kidney, spline, pancreas, and liver. I spent 6 months in the hospital recovering from my injuries I had multiple surgeries, lots of blood transfusions, tons of pain medication wich I am having trouble weaning of from. Overall I had no major complications from this ordeal. It just took me a while to walk again and gain my strength and weight back, I used to weigh 280 and now I only weigh 180 so I lost a lot of weight not the best way to do it but it works....lol I am very blessed to be alive and enjoy life to the fullest. Well that is my story I thought I would share it with you guys since it is a very important part of my life not that I wanted it too but it happened. Now leather, I love the hobby, I find sewing machines very neat and I am very fascinated by it. I think everybody In this forum is very friendly and willing to share their knowledge with other members.
Also before I started taking leather seriously I was into automotive audio, basically I wanted to have the loudest subwoofers in my truck, I really used to love loud music don't get me wrong I still do but I prefer sound quality instead. I quickly got tired of it. There will always make subwoofer better than the last and you keep on buying the newest just like anything else. I manage to learn electronics doing this I can install alarms, head units, amplifiers, subwoofers and just about anything electric in a car.
Well I am going back to navigating the forum...... GOD BLESS!
