  1. Thanks for the warm welcome.
  2. Wow! I wish my rear end was that talented. Seriously nice workmanship. I'd be proud to wear that.
  3. Hello everyone, My name is Ron Hoobler and I got introduced to Leathercrafting when I was at the VA school for the blind in Tucson, AZ. My central vision is pretty well shot, but I get by all right with my peripheral vision. I don't know how well I'll be able to tool leather, but I don't seem to have a problem with marking and cutting out patterns, putting holes in and stitching it together, so we'll see how it all goes. I kinda screwed up my first hat. I'm not sure what I did, but when I had it almost all the way stitched together, there was about a 2 - 3 inch gap where the side of the hat was supposed to come together. I think I may have made the top a bit too big. LOL So now I get to unstitch it, and try to figure out where to properly place my stitching holes to make it come together right. We'll see how many times it takes until I get it right. HA! Once I finish it, I'll get my wife to photograph it and post the pic for you all to critique. Looking forward to learning as much as I can. I'm also planning a new sheath for my Ka-bar.
