  1. HAHA.....good decision.....I have a 3000 as well.....BEST ever machine. I too have 100's of hours on mine and never had to do an adjustment yet!
  2. fabricondemand.com You can submit your logo and choose fabric color.....possibilities are almost endless.....basically design your own fabric to be made. I use 7 ounce cotton duck.....really lightweight CANVAS....I use to use 10 ounce, but just a tad too heavy. Very durable.
  3. Hmmmm....not sure I know what you mean..... The Puritan Wallet is 3 pieces, 2 outer and 1 inner to act as a divider between pockets. Sticky back piece? I do use adhesive to secure my Anvil Logo Liner to each layer of leather......
  4. This is a Time Lapse video of an Anvil Puritan Wallet Build I did for a recent customer. The Puritan Wallet is one I designed for those who just want to carry the minimal....and also want to chain it up. Each Purtian Wallet comes WITH a handmade custom "Shorty Chain" that I build. Its shorter than my regular 22" chains and has a cool stainless bolt clasp....hard to find those in STAINLESS steel. leather chain wallet, wallet chain Thanks for watching. www.anvilcustoms.com

  6. I have created a system to make my very unique "bullet rivets" for leatherwork. I have even sold these rivets to some of you here on leatherworker. The rivets can be cut to any lengths to choose. What is included is: 1 mini metal lathe/mill, box full of 100's of brass bullet casings, & many accessories for the lathe/mill (such as extra gears for different speeds, several cutter toolings, chucks, & more.) Also included are 100's of the tiny allen machine screws/nuts. I'm asking $1200 for everything including infomation on HOW TO create the rivets. These are PERFECT to use on many products, but I used them for my holsters, and motorcycle seats..... The reason I am selling is because my leatherworking has evolved into a different realm and I dont see a need for this system as much as I use to. Im not on the leatherworker site too much anymore with being in the shop so much....please email me direct: anvildood@hotmail.com
  7. I have FOR SALE an industrial pneumatic press. It was used to make KYDEX holsters, but these same machines can also press damp leather around a gun mold to produce some VERY nice holsters.... I am sorry I have NO MOLDS for this. These presses sell for $1,000's and this is in working order, but I have NEVER used it and without molds Im willing to make someone a deal. I hate to send you to another website, but I do have it listed on ebay right now so you can see pics of it there and more description: http://www.ebay.com/itm/150730277378?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649#ht_500wt_1156 I also have some clicker press dies for sale.....please see those as well. PLEASE NOTE: Im not on the leatherworkernet website much since I stay so busy, but please email direct or through ebay: anvildood@hotmail.com

  9. I have NOT used this, but it appears to be completed (minus the pneumatic source, of course and maybe whatever fittings to put everything together). This was used to mold heated KYDEX around any particular gun mold. It can also be used (with correct rubber attachments, where you see the black kydex molds, rubber attachments not included) as a LEATHER MOLD for guns. The leather is moistened and then pressed around the gun mold (the rubbery sponge comforms around the peather wrapped mold to produce a PERFECT shaped holster for finishing..... Unit, some hoses, foot pedals, several kydex holsters, etc included as shown. ALL billet aluminum construction. These units are commercial and cost THOUSANDS of dollars new. I think $500 is quite a good deal, so the first $500 takes it...... Let me know if interested, Ryan, (417)766-8055
  10. I have it listed on ebay....but call me if you want it, or bid on ebay....$450 if you want it now.....must pick up. http://cgi.ebay.com/Ideal-Clicker-Press-Machine-Tool-Cutting-Leather-/150614670149?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2311557b45 #: 150614670149
  11. Must be in good shape, ready to use. Please email with brand name and pictures and price and location: anvildood@hotmail.com Ryan
  12. This website needs to REQUIRE a Price to be listed when FOR SALE threads are started. So is there a PRICE or not?
  13. I am not a candidate for purchasing this, ONLY because I have one IDENTICAL to this.....and its PERFECT. Mine is VERY USED and this one listed here looks pristine! I have NEVER had a problem with mine....its a great machine....IDEAL Clicker Machine!!!!!!
  14. Yeah, unfortunately, I have to chuck the slug end of the cartridge, not the primered end. When this is done, the chuck just smashes the thin walled cartrdige. Therefore I had to make jigs to fit inside the cartridges so they won't collapse.
  15. Fun little project here. Built this holster for dad's Rock Island .45 (1911 model). Pancake style holster made from 8-9 oz. cowhide, LINED with glazed pigskin. I made the BULLET RIVETS myself. They actually turned out perfect and apply to leather VERY well, very tight. After shooting a few rounds with the gun, I just cut them down on my lathe......fun stuff. I have a BUNCH of these rivets made up (well a few sets more than what you see here in the pics).....and I am happy to sell them. You would be surprised to find out they are a bit TEDIOUS to make. You REALLY want the bullet ends to be cut perfectly, otherwise they would sit crooked on the leather surface. Therefore I cut these in my small lathe. I had to build a small JIG for EACH caliber (all different sizes) to hold the brass cartridge.....otherwise, they would be crushed in the lathe chuck. Sizes available: .38, .44, .45 Pack of 10 Bullet Rivets: $50 (plus $5 shipping) Pack of 5 Bullet Rivets: $30 (plus $5 shipping) Anyways, if you want some, let me know. Cheers, Ryan Wasson www.anvilleather.com 417-766-8055

  17. Geez....thanks everyone....sorry I can't respond to everyone, but I'll give it a try here. I have a BUNCH of these rivets made up (well a few sets more than what you see here in the pics).....and yes I am happy to sell them. One of these days I will do a picture tutorial on how to make them. In the meantime, I would sell them for $50 per set of 10 rivets (or $30 for set of 5 rivets). Keep in mind, these are very nice brass bullet rivets with LOTS of brass material in the end of the cartridges, so they are kinda heavy weighted for such a small piece. Also, look closely and you will see I used small ALLEN screws for fastening....they give the look of a SPENT (or "fired") bullet as the allen screw has that hollowed socket head looking like a hammered primer......for all you non-gun people, don't worry about this....not really that big of a deal.....lol. Anyways, if you want some, let me know. Ryan www.anvilleather.com
  18. Oh thats funny!!! Rear suspension...hilarious!

  20. Ok, so the small letters were cut and filled. However, when I try cutting letters THAT SMALL its quite a bit more sloppy than that! Your letters look perfect. Can you let us know what tools you are using for your tooling...including what blade to cut those small letters? Maybe even post a PIC of the tool(s). Cheers, Ryan @ Anvil www.anvilcustoms.com www.anvilleather.com
  21. Is that on one of my SEAT PANS that I make? Look exactly like one of my seat pans that I laser out. Just asking. Seat looks good.
  22. Oh cool.....yeah Trenton, NJ, home of Fisher--Norris Anvil Manufacturing. Very cool. I've owned dozens and dozens of Fishers over the years. They are good anvils.
  23. THANKS!! They range from $99 to $199....each. I've been making these for 8 years now. Probably a little over 400 made/sold.
  24. Hey Thanks everyone. Yes I do sell them, have been for about 8 years now. They're fun to make, but tedious little suckers. I do NOT cast them. I have a foundry in IL on the Mississippi River do the casting. Aluminum is ok, but you can really mess things up by melting BRASS. It puts off a HIGHLY toxic fume and is very volital (spelling). Any amount inhaled and cause death or at least land you in the hospital for a spell. Sooooooo.....I decided to let someone else cast and then I do all the tedious dirty work. Glad you like them. Ryan
