i am very good with a wet stone and a hunting knife but i wanted to know if you sharpen a round knife the same way. any help would be great
-
i am kind of new to this also but i think you will need all the tooling stamps. a round knife is great. get a good bench to work on. riveting tools, a strap cutter to cut belts is great just dont buy a cheap one. edging tools. i have found that i buy tools as i need them and i use them alot once i get them. its hard to say exactly what you will need untill you start doing it.

im kind of new to leather working (about a year working on stuff) but i have found that you will have alot more fun buying a side and making all kinds of things with it. you will have lots of extra to practice and screw up and make girlfriends stupid gifts and such. it just seems like once i bought a side i gained alot of experience.
