  1. Ok, I've been fooling around in the shop trying to duplicate some of these rings I've seen online. I just cannot figure out the method or technique. I'm to the point where I will pay somebody $20 just to get a how to guide lol. Now, according to the web. This ring is made with a light metal base adjustable ring. I think it's wrapped in a very soft thin leather and glued together, maybe barges or E6000 glue. Then probably sprayed down with some saddle lac or some other kind of finisher. I'm trying to figure out how this person wrapped the eye so perfectly It looks like the eye has a perfect eye socket and is it just 1 piece of leather or multiple? If anyone can figure this out, I have no problem shooting you some money for your troubles lol.
  2. Hey, everybody! I just wanted to get some feedback from all the wonderful people here! Let me know whatcha think. I'm lucky enough that my best friend is a glass blower and he makes all my eyeballs.

  8. I used the Tom boyce pattern for this. Hope it came out alright. Some people have asked about the fox fur on the bridge of the flap. It was simply put there by request.
  9. So I've been seeing a lot of people making books, rings, bracelets with fake glass eyes embedded into their leather. How is this done? I'm dying to know lol
  10. I was wondering, does anyone have a list of every tool and what their designed use is for? I'm new to leather working and would like to become more knowledgeable with all of the tools.
