  1. Could it be a Durkopp Adler 205-370 ? 205 e cylinder arm machine 204 being the flat bed.
  2. Now, does anyone have, or have access to, an owner/user manual for a Singer 45B8BC and/or a Seiko CH-8B? Cheers, Badger Karl, I MAY have a manuel but not actually sure. I use a CH8 BV which is the binder version of your machine. Will have a good look round to see if I can find something.Hows the BU No 6 project ??? Keith
  3. Ben try Sharpsewing on Ebay they seem to have LOADS of stock.
  4. Hi Ray, I used to share a workshop with an industrial sewing mech.He always said the first two things you MUST do are charge the needle making sure it is fitted correctly and of the right size for the thread being used and then re-thread your machine. It sounds to me as if the timing is out.
  5. Many thanks for your kind words Karl.Pleased the machine finally arrived safely and I am sure you will do the "old girl"justice. Must also say how nice it has been to deal with someone as straight and upfront as yourself. Keith
  6. Whatever oil you end up using Karl be sure to get PLENTY of it !!!!!

    Moose Hide

Hi Guys, Looking for a tannery who supply super soft Moose Hide in 1.6mm to 1.8mm substance ? Any offers of advice appreciated. Regards Geordie
  12. Ray, If possible could you use pulleys from your replacement motor to your machine. If you fit a large dia pulley that would slow the RPM down....although I am not sure if you could rig such a system up.
