  1. Hi,  I am new to all this but have a Pfaff 1245 for sale not too far away.  I am in BC Canada (west coast).  The 1245 for sake is  a 1245 and has the following number on the aluminum data plate:

    706674

    Erz Nu. 901-1245-040/003

    Oberteil Nu. 739711

1/2 hp clutch motor Model PS-661421 made by Jomida Industries, Montreal Canada

The lady selling it says she has had it for 15 years  and has not used it very much and had it serviced two years ago.  It is the light coffee colour mentioned elsewhere.

Asking price is $1800 Canadian or USD about $1500.

I really like any advice or opinion you are able to offer, Thanks, Gordon

Paid a deposit on the Pfaff 1245.  Price CDN$1600= USD$1170.  Should have it in a week or two.  Now need a recommendation on a servo motor!

      Had a look at Amazon.canada and see Consew 550w CSM1000 for US$165, Enduro EM550 US$$230 and Interbuying (?) US$145

Any clues for a good brand?  The machine will only be used for hobby work, so no real heavy duty motor necessary.

Really appreciate your advice.  Thanks :-)

I do not like the Enduro.  Two may problems.  Buy the Consew.
