hey Roger that's one sweet seat!
i've been going through the the old posts admiring (and hopefully learning) from all the great seat makers that post here.
but i just wanted to say your work is amazing. i've been a big fan of old style pinup art for years, and this seat is a perfect example. don't worry about it being too revealing, it's just good clean cheesecake. and very well done i must say. and what a great cause! if i ever get good enough for people to want my work, i want to do stuff like that. I read somewhere that bikers give more to charity than any other group proportionately.
i finally ordered a set of pebblers the other day, because i really love the effect you get.

your drawn idea looks pretty good. is this eye cover needed for protection, or just to cover an unsightly socket? you said the lid or skin was sewn shut, so i can't imagine it's needed for protection. if the owner is just wanting something for looks, then it should be as small and light as possible, and made to blend with the bridle. your drawing looks like you've added a cavason to attach the bottom of the cover, that could certainly be made to match the bridle. either pad it good or make sure that it doesn't rub over the socket.
or maybe the owner would like to be creative and have a flashy pirate horse!
i'm interested to see how it turns out. can you share pictures of the finishes product?
my wife was always customizing equipment whenever one of our horses were injured. but we never had one lose an eye.

Hi, i'm new here so maybe this question has been covered before and i just haven't found it yet. but i would like to know how to dye a snake skin, and what type of dye should i use? not long ago i bought a whip snake skin off of ebay, and it had been dyed on both sides a deep red color which turned out very nice. if possible i'd like to try adding some color variety to the snakes around my area (i'll make sure they're dead first). thanks for any help offered.

Impressive work, and great photography also. I nearly crapped myself when that mask popped on the screen. I've been browsing through the old posts here, and i've seen lots of your work spider. very unique. keep it up.

leatheroo it may not have turned out like you intended...but it's still a very nice mask. interesting shapes and pleasing colors. i'm sure someone will buy it. i think it's great.
now you get the pleasure of making another one like what you wanted.
may i ask what type of airbrush you use? i'm considering buying one to apply dyes and stains, but i have no idea what to look for.
hmmm maybe i should start a new post!
anyway...i like your masks...what oz. leather do you use for those?
